- DESCRIPTION: This old teak bowl is a gorgeous centerpiece for any table or simply a work of art. Originally the base of an old village drum from Java, it’s hand hewn texture and character is now on full display. This Indonesian artifact was handcrafted from one solid piece of teak wood by local artisans decades ago with hand painted detail to decorate it’s base. Organic character and texture throughout consistent with age and use. NOTE: The felt pads have been added to the bottom protect furniture surfaces and can be removed.
