- DESCRIPTION: This old glass cabinet is an unusual find, and it’s hand carved floral detail on the glass door makes it very unique. Originally hand crafted in Java by local artisans from solid teak wood, this colonial style cabinet has an aged regal beauty that still holds it’s own. The artistry of the delicately carved floral detail that adorns the vintage glass in the door, and the richness of the green textured glass that decorate the top make this piece a special find. It’s dark finish has worn and faded over time and small breaks are apparent in the carving – a testament to it’s decades of use but only enhancing it’s vintage elegance. This teak display cabinet provides a lovely display for your collectibles, linens, antique books or anything else you can envision. A small drawer at the bottom provides some additional storage. Glass on sides has been replaced at some point and not original to the piece. Aged patina throughout – consistent with wear and age.
