  • DESCRIPTION: At over seven feet long, this antique carved panel is a special find.  The architectural panel depicts two serpent / dragons on each end, an auspicious motif symbolizing power, strength and good fortune. Hand carved decades ago by a village artisan in Madura, this old panel, with it’s organic weathered patina is a handsome decorative accent for your home. It has wonderful carved detail throughout and remnants of color, reflecting the style of homes of Madura and the coastal region. The paint has faded due to age and the elements, but a storied patina remains. This one-of-a-kind architectural accent will look fabulous above a doorway or over windows. Organic rustic character and patina throughout consistent with age.
