  • DESCRIPTION: Hand carved from a 2 inch thick plank of teak wood, this old architectural panel, just over 7 feet long, is a wonderful architectural accent for your home! Originally part of an old Javanese “Joglo” house, this teak panel was the center of the ceiling where a traditional lamp was hung. Normally a small house in the village will only have one of this main panel which makes it rare. In addition, it’s scrolled floral detail is bold and uncomplicated design, combined with a touch of the geometric, makes it a handsome panel. It’s raw finish showcases the natural warmth and beauty of the teak wood for a very modern organic feel. This architectural panel was hand carved by an Indonesian artisan decades ago, yet still maintains contemporary style. Solid Teak wood, raw, weathered, unfinished.
