Decorated with a carved relief of a scene from the Hindu epic “The Mahabharata,” and brightly painted, the panel was used as the backdrop to mount and display the owner’s kris inside the home. Hand crafted from a solid piece of teak wood by a village artisan decades ago and colorfully hand painted in the style of the coastal Javanese / Madurese region. This panel is a one of a kind decorative piece for your home.
