- DESCRIPTION: This old wooden deer is a unique find and a great example of folk art from Java. We love all the spunk and spirit this little guy has! Hand crafted by a village artisan from teak wood, actual deer antlers were incorporated into the piece for a more realistic representation. This deer is a vintage find and most likely was painted at some point in it’s history. It definitely has it’s own rustic quirky charm and an absolute conversation piece. After all, the artisan made sure everyone knew this deer was a male! Organic rustic character and patina.
