- DESCRIPTION: This hand crafted colonial style daybed from Gado Gado is a one-of-a-kind find with wonderful detail throughout. It’s artisanal character and style makes this a handsome piece to relax and recharge in. It’s design incorporates an old colonial teak panel for the back – complete with a traditional spindle design. Each spindle was individually hand carved, therefore every one is unique and exhibits the innate beauty of the imperfection of the human hand. Carved elements add a bit of detail on both arms as well as the square insets along the front; however the daybed maintains a rustic simplicity and allows the organic beauty of the wood to also play a part. Hand crafted by an Indonesian artisan from reclaimed teak and other hard wood. Beautifully hand finished with a sanded smooth surface showcasing the organic rustic texture and character from the reclaimed teak and other hard wood.
