- DESCRIPTION: The beauty of this reclaimed wood bench lies in it’s unique elements, straightforward appeal and versatility. Hand crafted from reclaimed hard wood, two vintage wood architectural house pedestals from Java were used as legs to create a one-of-a-kind bench. These pedestal bases, known as “umpak” in Java, have been hand carved with handsome inset detail and display a rich wood grain. Old carved Indonesian architectural panels decorate both sides of the bench and add a refined sensibility to it’s design. Two reclaimed hard wood planks were used for the seat, sanded smooth with solid sturdy construction. Rustic character and texture throughout from the reclaimed hard wood.
